Massage Therapist & Integrated Body Therapist Programme

Modular training and continuing education

When words aren't enough - get the body talking

A holistic programme with a robust professional foundation

The Massage & Integrated Body Therapist programme is for those who want to understand the body in depth and learn the craft of touch, treatment and bodily transformation. Here, technique and theory are inextricably linked to human insight. The logic of the nervous system, the language of the body and relational contact play just as important a role as the techniques themselves.

The four modules can be taken individually or as a complete programme.

Together they make up 425 lessons, which - together with health-related subjects that can be taken as credits - make it possible to apply for RAB authorisation as a massage therapist.

Integrative body therapy - the foundation of the programme

Integrative body therapy is an approach that combines manual treatment with a deep understanding of how our whole being is connected. The body cannot be separated from the mind, thoughts, relationships or the context we live in - everything affects each other and is shaped together.

The manual techniques are supported by modern knowledge about pain, sleep, stress and trauma, and together they create a form of treatment where the body is seen as a living, intelligent system that both bears traces of the life we have lived and responds to the demands of today's world.

The qualification is taught in English

Do you want to work deeper and more holistically?

Became comfortable working with the complexities of life

Who is it for?

The Integrated Body Therapy programme is designed for those who want to work deeper with people and bring more peace, release and change into their practice.

Practitioners equipped to work with sleep problems, pain, stress and trauma in an integrated and holistic way.

As a Massage Therapist and Integrated Body Therapist, you will learn different types of massage, pulsating body therapy, craniosacral therapy and other therapies integrated with knowledge of updated pain science, stress, sleep and trauma.

You will learn massage and other manual therapies, but with a psychotherapeutic focus.

We gather around the couch

The programme is highly practice-oriented. This means a lot of bench work, where the hands have time to learn. You become comfortable with the techniques and the many expressions of the body - and you build a confidence that can be felt when you meet the client.

Theory - the anatomy of emotions, modern pain science, the meaningful body and the hierarchy of the nervous system - is constantly drawn back to practice, so you learn to work both professionally and attentively. This gives you both the craftsmanship and the perspective needed to counsel and treat on an informed basis.

Are you ready for the next step in your professional development?

The exciting themes of the programme

The balanced body

The talking body

The stressed body

The painful body

The traumatised body

The integrated body

In addition, you'll also learn through:

Personal treatments

As part of the programme, you book self-treatments with different therapists. You will have the opportunity to experience on your own body what touch, pressure, rhythm and presence can create - both when it soothes, calms, opens or sets something in motion. You will also gain insight into how different therapists meet you as a client. The treatments are not covered by the course price.

Masterclass events

Throughout the module, we invite experienced practitioners to demonstrate their work with a client in front of the class. In masterclasses, you get to see how techniques are used in real life - not as isolated methods, but as living, customised and intuitive movements through a treatment.

It's my body

As part of the programme, we invite people to tell their story - about life in the body, about boundaries, about vulnerability, about illness, pain or trauma, and about how it feels to be touched by another person. This is not therapy, but a living insight into how the body can be shaped by experiences, relationships and life circumstances.

Normal price: 19,500 kr.
Early Bird: 17,500 kr.

5 modules of 2 days each - 125 lessons

The focus is on understanding the body as a dynamic system where tension, breath, mood and nervous system interact. You'll learn to create treatments that can loosen, calm, awaken and relax - depending on the body's needs.

You will learn, among other things:

  • Pulsating massage, rhythmic touch and regulating techniques
  • Integrate pulsating and physiurgical massage into a single treatment programme
  • Working with the nervous system: pace, confidence and regulation
  • Treatment of stress, tension and somatic reactions

  • Emotional contact and presence as part of the treatment

The Craniosacral Therapy module introduces you to a gentle, in-depth treatment that works with the body's finer rhythms, tensions and regulatory mechanisms. The focus is particularly on the face, neck and organs, where even small changes can affect the nervous system, tension levels and inner peace. The techniques are precise, slow and responsive - training your hands to pick up on subtle patterns and responses in the tissue.

  • Gentle and precise treatment of the face, jaw, neck and cranial structures
  • Organ massage to support regulation and relaxation
