The common thread - my spiritual manifesto

What is the common thread in a life? For me, it's about the values, experiences and beliefs that weave everything together - even when life falls apart. In the mini book The common thread I share my own spiritual manifesto: a conversation between my life, my faith and the voices of Christian mystics, theologians and thinkers throughout history.

The transforming voices

The book shows how Christian spirituality can be both grounded and deeply transformative. I engage in dialogue with mystics such as Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Avila and Meister Eckhart - and with newer voices like Thomas Keating and Richard Rohr. Together we explore themes of hope, community, contemplation, inclusion and how we can read the Bible as wisdom literature today.

Immersion and hope

It is not a theological textbook, but an invitation. An invitation to find meaning, hope and contemplation in a world that often pulls us in all directions. A reminder that spirituality is not something distant or abstract, but a common thread that can carry us - in joy and in sorrow, in strength and in vulnerability.
